THE AKSHARDHAM TEMPLE

Welcome to THE AKSHARDHAM TEMPLE

The second building that we absolutely loved the most in all of Delhi is the Akshardham temple.
It is a little out of the center, to reach it you need to use the metro and then walk for about ten minutes on foot or take a tuk tuk, the famous Ape cars of Asia.
It is a relatively new Hindu temple, built in 2005.
Both the interiors and exteriors are characterized by architecture and sculptures with wonderful and perfect shapes.
A true one-of-a-kind work of art.
A large complex where you have to take off your shoes and walk barefoot in and out of the halls, around the buildings and under the arcades.
We advise you to visit it at sunset, when the colors acquire their best shades.
The only slightly annoying aspect of this temple is that absolutely no photos can be taken.
For this reason, you are required to leave your backpack in the lockers at the entrance and are searched before entering the temple proper. But it's worth it, we can assure you.
