From 2 to 8 November 2020, the second edition of Holis Week will take place, the week dedicated to the promotion of holistic arts and personal well-being, with digital and face-to-face format, sponsored by the Municipality of Milan.
During the week, the best holistic centers and associations of shiatsu, ayurveda, traditional Chinese medicine, as well as yoga, dance and martial arts studios will open their doors and their digital channels to the participants.
An extraordinary variety of holistic events and activities, such as:
- tai chi lessons,
- naturopathic workshops,
- Feng Shui advice
- and much more will be organized
free of charge at the Milanese
centers and online for the benefit
of Holis Week users and participants.
Some upcoming events
Among the many events on the schedule, TAO School, a point of reference for traditional Chinese medicine, will organize an open day with tuina treatments and seminars, while Risvegli Danza Maria Fux will offer lessons to learn about the therapeutic power of dance according to the teachings of its founder.
AIK, the Italian Kung Fu Association, will offer classes for adults and children. Furthermore, an online lesson with Roberto Milletti and Francesca Cassia, founders of Odaka Yoga, a practice that draws on the Zen tradition and martial arts, in which the flow of inner energy is transformed into continuous movement.
Among the yoga centers that will participate in the event, there will be Spazio Garibaldi 77, with a lesson with Feet Up, a tool to facilitate inversions and enjoy the benefits of this practice in total safety. The varied offer of activities promoted during the Holis Week aims to spread the benefits of holistic culture and support the variety of this sector, its disciplines, its professionals and the Milanese associations and centres, also spreading the neighborhood logic .
Unless otherwise stated, children are always welcome, but please be aware that most of our events are aimed at an adult audience. Children must be supervised at all times.
Yes, we always provide a variety of seating for all ticketholders unless it’s a dance event or art show opening. One of our crew will always be on hand to assist you in finding a seat if you need one.
There is a wide choice of places to park, however most are not free so please do check before you come on the Southampton City Council website. We have no onsite parking.
Very. There is a bus stop a few doors up and the train station is about 7 minutes gentle walk away.
To our knowledge, none of our customers has had any bad experience, however we do recommend that if you are worried you stick to the roads rather than walk through the parks. The roads are well-lit and generally there are a lot of people about at night.
YES! Many of our customers come alone to events, it’s never a problem and you will be welcomed warmly.
