On 25 and 26 January 2020 Oriente Day arrives at BASE Milano for a two-day festival dedicated to the well-being of mind, body and spirit.
Oriente Day is a traveling event that has been promoting oriental culture and arts for years, building bridges and crossing oriental traditions, customs and methods with the western way of life, thus developing virtuous connections between different cultures.
The Festival offers various activities including a rich program of artists, experts, teachers and operators who will intervene with performances, conferences, workshops.
On the BASE stage, performers, dancers and musicians inspired and influenced by oriental arts and music will take turns.
Holistic workshops and much more
For the entire duration of the festival, workshops will be active in which holistic teachers will offer in-depth meetings on different methods and traditions: from yoga to ayurveda, from meditation to reiki, and then massages, tai chi, shiatsu, and much more.

A special event is planned in the exhibition area: we will have Tibetan monks as special guests who will create a suggestive sand mandala during the two days of the Festival.
It will also be possible to visit an exhibition of traditional hand-painted Tibetan thankgas.
The location's bar and restaurant will be open for the entire duration of the event.

Yes, we always provide a variety of seating for all ticketholders unless it’s a dance event or art show opening. One of our crew will always be on hand to assist you in finding a seat if you need one.
There is a wide choice of places to park, however most are not free so please do check before you come on the Southampton City Council website. We have no onsite parking.
Very. There is a bus stop a few doors up and the train station is about 7 minutes gentle walk away.
To our knowledge, none of our customers has had any bad experience, however we do recommend that if you are worried you stick to the roads rather than walk through the parks. The roads are well-lit and generally there are a lot of people about at night.
YES! Many of our customers come alone to events, it’s never a problem and you will be welcomed warmly.
